Starting out in Musselburgh the route follows the coast to North Berwick; just beyond you can enjoy your first coffee stop at Drift with cracking views of Bass Rock and over to Fife. Continue through to Dunbar and once through the hamlet of Spott, you feel like you’ve really entered the heart of East Lothian and escaped the busy coastal towns. A turn north and you’re passing Trapain law on the way to East Linton. Here you can enjoy the freshly baked delights and another coffee at Bostock Bakery.

Loop around the lumps and bumps by Athelstaneford and you’re en-route back into Musselburgh with 100km in your legs.
